Meet Dr. José Alvino Ventura NMD
Dr. José Alvino Ventura NMD and his siblings were born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Hickory, North Carolina. His parents are from El Salvador a country in Central America whom exposed him to traditional Mesoamerican medicine at a young age. In 2007 Dr. Ventura graduated with honors from Western Carolina University with a B.S in Clinical Laboratory Science. After receiving his undergraduate degree he moved to Tempe, Arizona to attend medical school and in 2011 he received his Doctorate in Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. In 2018 he was certified by the American Academy of Motor Vehicle Injuries. Today he is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona and is the owner of Clinica Talticpac in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Ventura uses both conventional and alternative therapies and has a focus in automobile/personal Injury, Musculoskeletal conditions, sports medicine and acute primary care.

Meaning of Talticpac
In the Nahuat language the word Talticpac represents various concepts: The universe, the sky and a celestial vault. Talticpac is not only a word it is also one of the planes of existence in the religion and ancestral beliefs of the Nahua or Pipil people an indigenous group of El Salvador. Clinica Talticpac's logo consists of a stylized "T" based on the Pre-columbian art of Mesoamerica with the aim of not only creating something aesthetically pleasing but also to honor Dr. Ventura's cultural heritage.
